Practice Areas

Trauma
Trauma can affect the body (fatique), mind (low self-esteem), mood (depression), spirit and relationships. Our trauma-informed approach can help find healing and understanding to change the thoughts and patterns learned through trauma. We use a holistic person-centered approach to create healing from the inside-out. Have confidence and renewed hope. Let the chaos end. Revive your mind and walk in the peace you desire.
RELIGIOUS TRAUMA
You ask yourself “What do I really believe.” You have doubts, fears, resentment. You question if you are even allowed to have doubts. You just remember that someone once said, you have little faith or need to pray more, fast more, sacrifice more. It doesn’t feel right. Maybe you are afraid to even say it aloud. You remember being so empowered engaged and motivated, but somewhere something went wrong. You question: Is it me? Is it God? Is it them? Subtley things changed. Religious trauma is real. It could be unrealistic expectations imposed to create conformity. Maybe manipulation and fear have been used to drive division. The messages have changed from empowering to shaming and emotional manipulation. Therapy can help you explore what your spiritual journey has meant to you, both the positive experiences and the painful ones. You can process what drew you to the system at the start. What does it mean now? How do you heal? You learned others before self and this is a hard step. Let’s talk about it.

Couple & Family Therapy
Do you feel like you are married to a stranger? You remember holding hands and dreaming of the future. Now it’s here and you barely know each other. Maybe you have felt so unheard that divorce has been thrown on the table and you’re not sure of the next forward step. All relationships go through ups and downs, and they all take work, commitment, and a willingness to adapt and change. Life gets in the way and you have a laundry list of critiques that need to be seen. You don’t know how and if you can get that “loving feeling” back. Therapy can help you work through communication mishaps and attachment injuries and break through the interaction cycles are causing distress. Increase intimacy, learn to fight fair, connect meaningfully, and heal.
Maybe you want the family to just be able to talk and get on the same page. Perhaps you’d like parenting support and offer a space for the whole family to learn to work together. Let’s connect.
Maybe you want to prevent the cycles and heartache that you witnessed growing up. Maybe you want the tools to make your relationship work, where others have failed. Premarital counseling may be for you. Let’s work together to learn, grow, and renew.
Perinatal/Postnatal Support

Becoming a parent can bring joy alongside anxiety, overwhelm, identity changes, and shifts within your relationships? You were never meant to navigate pregnancy, postpartum, and new parenthood alone. We provide compassionate support throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood. We help individuals and couples navigate this season with greater understanding, connection, and confidence.
Whether you are struggling emotionally, adjusting to a new identity, or finding your relationship changed by parenthood, we offer a place to feel supported, understood, and more like yourself again. You can talk about the thoughts, anxiety, or emotions you’ve been afraid to say aloud in a safe, compassionate space without judgement.

Play / Child / Adolescent
We utilize creative ways to reach children and adolescents where they are and offer skills adequate for their unique growth and development. We help children and teens to process, heal, and learn new strategies that support your child or teen’s ability to regulate their emotions, behaviors, and thoughts. We work alongside parents as a team. We come up with parenting strategies together to improve behaviors and connection. Equip yourself with tools and skills to help your child or adolescent.
THERAPY INTENSIVES
What is it and why consider intensive therapy?
An intensive is an accelerated/concentrated form of therapy, that allows for clients work through problems with less interruption and increased space and time to dig deeper, faster. Maybe you don’t have a lot of time, let alone months to get to the healed self you want to be. You want to thrive and function better, quicker. If you’ve wondered if there is an out of the box of hour at a time way; intensives may be a fit for you. Sometimes healing needs more than 50-60 minutes at a time. Traditional weekly therapy can be incredibly valuable, but just as meaningful work begins, the session may be ending. Intensive therapy provides a longer, protected block of time to slow down, go deeper, and stay with the therapeutic process without having to stop simply because the hour is over.
EMDR INTENSIVES
For clients working through trauma, anxiety, painful experiences, or deeply held negative beliefs, an EMDR intensive can provide more uninterrupted time for preparation, processing, and integration. Rather than specding part of each weekly session checking in, settling into the work, and then preparing to stop, an intensive allows us to dedicate a larger portion of our time to the EMDR process itself.
COUPLES THERAPY INTENSIVES
Couples often come to therapy carrying years of hurt, disconnection, communication patterns, or broken trust. These concerns can be difficult to fully explore within a traditional 50-60 minute session. A couples intensive gives us time to understand the patterns beneath conflict, slow difficult conversations down, address underlying emotions and attachment needs, and practice healtheir ways of communicating while we are together in the room. This format can be especially helpful for couples working through infidelity, trust repair, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, or significant relationship transitions.
Is an Intensive Right for you?
Intensive therapy is not about rushing healing. It’s about creating enough space and time for meaningful work to unfold. Yes results can occur quicker due to the opportunity to stay with an issue, work through it, learn new skills with more concentrated space. For some clients, weekly therapy is the best fit. For others, setting aside several hours can provide the depth, continuity, and momentum they have been needing. If you feel like you’ve been saying, “We need more time to really work through this,” an intensive may be worth considering.
What can I expect? We schedule an intake at the hourly session to see if the fit is right, and discuss your specific needs for therapy. We collaborate to find a schedule of intensives that work for you. A 3 hour session in one day, a 6 hour session over two days or a 9 hour session over three days. We even explore 1.5=2 hour sessions weekly. We work intentionally to find the best fit for you.
